I am a self-taught multimedia artist hailing from Abingdon, Virginia. Before I became aware of my interests in art, I studied psychology and worked as a case manager in Southwest Virginia. During this time, I became deeply interested in meditation and spirituality. I see my practice as a vehicle for spiritual practice that draws from Catholic and Buddhist traditions.

My interest in art grew even more while living in the Berkshires in northeastern Appalachia. There, I met the artistic and spiritual communities that continue to shape my mind and work today. As a current resident of the Art Lab Emerging Artist Program at the William King Museum of Art, I am eager to collaborate with the community of my hometown while being shaped with new influences.
